At Common Space we know that you want to be a great host. In order to do that, you need to feel confident in your space. The problem is most apartments in San Francisco can't host 30+ people comfortably which makes you feel crammed. We believe everyone should have space to host a beautiful event. We understand how restrictive it is to host and event in a bar or resturant which is why we created Common Space - flexible event spaces in San Francisco.

3. Book your event.

The Loft - Cow Hollow

Our Cow Hollow location is in the middle of it all! Just down from Union Street with amazing shopping, bridal boutiques, florists, artisanal groceries, and so much more. Then we are just up the street from the infamous Chestnut Street. There is something for everyone in this area. Micheline star restaurants, bakeries, cafes, bars, and restaurants galore.

The space is located in an airy 2nd floor space at 3108B Fillmore Street. We have 900 sf of bright open space with hardwood floors and a 15' high exposed wooden ceiling. Plus a private patio that opens on two sides into the interior event space.

The Shop - Outer Richmond

Located at 3832 Balboa St. in the Outer Richmond, The Shop is our first space and a ground floor retail location.

The painted concrete floors add charm and brightness to this plant-fill haven. Original artwork lines the walls. The perfect space for parties of 15-35 - we have hosted everything from workshops, to birthday parties, to engagements, + baby showers over the past couple of years.

The space is inviting and easy to find - just down the street from the Balboa Theater with plenty of free street parking just out front.

We are a collection of events venues in San Francisco commited to creating spaces for people to gather in. We rent our spaces for private events. Everything from celebrations like baby showers to team offsites - our spaces provide a place to gather in community and celebrate all the moments in our lives. In addition to renting our spaces, we host our own events to further our mission.

This can be a yoga class, crafting for mental health, relating workshop - we have a wide range of unique events each month. Corporate Workshops

Looking for a unique team meeting location? Or maybe something to bring the team together around other than happy hour?

We teach workshops! Everything from a 5 minute craft to a 3-hour workshop. We love to help employers share the power of art and crafts with their employees. We all do so much in the digital space these days - it is important to reconnect with making with one's own hands. We are here to help facilitate those activities.
