What to Bring and Wear: Anything that will allow for maximum comfort. Yoga mat, pillow for your head, socks, water, journal, and anything additional that would allow you to settle into a deep state of relaxation.

In Buddhism, the profound concept of 'The Sacred Pause' invites us to intentionally step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to create space for reflection and restoration. By stepping away from the incessant flow of activity, this intentional pause disrupts the trance of habitual thoughts, patterns, and actions space that is essential to gain a broader perspective. Through a regular practice of 'The Sacred Pause,' you can remember the refuge of solitude within you and experience deep connection with others.

Join Movement and Sound Facilitator Taylor Chang as she holds space for your Sacred Pause. Each month, Taylor will share poetry, concepts, and art from wisdom traditions around the world for discussion and contemplation. This will be followed by gentle embodiment practices and a sound journey using crystal bowls, gongs, ocean drums, chimes, and flutes. The harmonious resonance and frequencies created by these instruments will invite your mind to settle, allowing you to melt into a state of deep relaxation and restoration.
Following the sound bath, you'll have the opportunity to slowly integrate your experience with new friends over warm tea and light seasonal snacks.
You do not need any prior meditation or sound experience to join this experience. This workshop is for people who are interested in mindfulness, self reflection, and contemplation! The intention of this series is to meet and connect with other people in the community who are invested in being an explorer of the inner landscape. Shoutout to my fellow seekers!
