Description:
Casey's Craft Club is celebrating the fall season with an evening of festive crafting. We will be decorating glass tealight candle holders while enjoying a seasonal movie—movie to be determined but think Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Corpse Bride. We will decorate the holders with a technique called decoupage in which you glue paper and other decorative elements to the glass container. All materials will be provided including the container (all unique and sourced secondhand), decorations and 2 tealight candles for you to take home with you. A selection of tissue paper and organic elements (dried flowers and leaves) will be provided so you can create your own unique design. Feel free to bring any additional materials that you want to use as decoration. No experience needed and plenty of inspiration will be provided.
You are welcome to bring drinks and food to enjoy at the event! For this special fall celebration, I will have a selection of teas and cider as well as a seasonal treat. I encourage you to bring a snack to share for the festivities if you feel inspired to do so!
